Turrill fifth grade TAG students just wrapped up their Simple Machines project. They started by learning what the simple machines were, what they did, and how they affected effort force when used to do a task. Next they brainstormed and planned how they could demonstrate each machine, and how they could get their classmates to experience these machines. They build the necessary props and gathered the tools they needed. Then each of the three fifth grade classes were invited to take part in the stations the TAG students set up. The TAG students did a great job of presenting and facilitating the simple machine centers. Well done TAG team!
