JOURNEY TO SKINNER LAKE

Fifth grade students went to Skinner Lake in mid September to learn about Life Science. While they were there students did some pond dipping with nets to collect tadpoles, frogs, and other animal life. Some of their specimens were looked at under the microscope to investigate their body parts. Students were fascinated to see how the body parts were adapted to help the organism survive in its habitat. The students even found a snake to investigate while walking back from the bog. It was a great expedition.
